Mindset coaching
The Co-Active model
Before working with any coach, you should understand how they actually work - not just their credentials, but their approach in the room. Here's mine.
I am certified in the Co-Active and Positive Intelligence models, which form the basis of my approach, and I also weave my style and perspectives in too, particularly non-dual and stoic meditation and breathing techniques.
It's crucial to understand your coach's methodologies and feel a genuine connection with them, ensuring a safe and open space for growth. To test this connection, I offer an introductory session to ensure we are the right fit for each other.
What is Co-Active coaching?
As a certified Co-Active mindset coach, I subscribe to the Co-Active model. This globally respected and research-backed philosophy focuses on the client being an active and creative partner in the coaching process.
The Co-Active model starts from a position of respect: you are not broken, and I am not here to fix you. What I bring is a rigorously trained capacity to ask the questions that help you access what you already know - the clarity, the instinct, the sense of what actually matters - that tends to get buried under noise, obligation, and habit. The key principles of co-active coaching are:
Co-create our partnership - Our coaching relationship is a dynamic and collaborative partnership. We tailor our interactions based on your unique needs and goals, ensuring the coaching process is personalised and effective.
Meeting you where you are at - Every session follows your agenda, not a script. If something urgent has come up since we last spoke, we will go there. If you're circling a topic you haven't been able to say out loud yet, we make space for that. The programme has a shape, but what happens inside each session is entirely responsive to you.
Fulfilment, Balance, and Process - The three cornerstones of our work together:
Fulfilment (values and purpose): Discovering what's truly meaningful to you, paving the way to a life filled with purpose and passion.
Balance (choice and perspective): Exploring various perspectives and finding the right equilibrium that aligns with your values and desires.
Process (emotions and experience): Embracing the entirety of your experience - embodying emotion through somatic techniques, which provides deep insights and new energy for growth.
Mindset coaching techniques
Depending on the context of our work together, we will use a range of techniques to help you identify and move towards your fulfilled life. These include the different elements of the Co-Active Model, Positive Intelligence, Stoicism and other approaches including:
Values exploration: Together, we uncover the core values that underpin your way of being, guiding your decisions and actions.
Challenging saboteurs: We identify and tackle the internal critics that hinder your progress, using techniques such as PQ reps from Positive Intelligence.
Perspective shifting: We explore alternative viewpoints to loosen the grip of limiting beliefs.
Embodying emotions: By focusing on being present with the emotions surrounding challenging topics, we unlock new realisations and energy shifts.
Action setting: Each session ends with something concrete - a commitment, an inquiry, or a small experiment to carry into your week. Coaching without action is just conversation.
Somatic awareness: We pay attention to where things show up in the body - the tightness, the lightness, the gut sense that something is right or wrong - and learn to use that information rather than override it.
And many more…
My coaching principles
Focus on the whole person
Most of us have been trained to lead with logic - to analyse, evaluate, and decide. That's useful. But it's not the whole picture. In our sessions, I'll invite you to notice what's happening in your body, not just your head - because that's often where the most honest information lives. Don't worry: I'll guide you through it, and it tends to be less strange than it sounds.
Meet you where you are at
We will focus on what you bring to the sessions whilst following an overall arc of the programme. These sessions are yours and I will support you as you want to be helped.
Professional and confidential
Our sessions will be a safe space for you to explore your mindset and emotions. Nothing we discuss will be shared and if it turns out I am not the right person to help you, I will work with you to find another coach more suitable to your needs.
Accountability and action
Mindset coaching is an investment in yourself. To get the most out of our time together, we set actions and inquiries after sessions. I will provide accountability and support to complete the work agreed upon so you can move faster towards your goals.
How I’ve helped my clients
Chat with me today
I've done this work myself — not as a theoretical exercise, but in the middle of real uncertainty, real exhaustion, and real decisions that felt impossible. That's the coach you get. If you're curious whether this is right for you, the intro call costs nothing except an hour. Come with whatever's on your mind. We'll figure out the rest from there.
